And it was close because they ran the old ass stroke victim. I said it was a toss up. If they had someone younger or competent, it would have been an opportunity within the party.Headhunter wrote:Looks like the old ass stroke victim won.Foo wrote:https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mysana ... 239398.php

A district Clinton's won by 20 points now a toss up as Dems nominate an old ass stroke victim against a conservative who speaks Spanish in a predominantly Spanish speaking area.
And my district flipped from Republican to Dem for the first time in almost 50 years.
No one is surprised California turns blue.

Are people so dumb to not realize that one change in travel plans causes a domino effect for a president? And that he is advised on how to proceed by experts? And that every situation is different?
The president traveling is not like you loading the rugrats into the old wagon and hauling off to granny's house. There are travel logistics before and after.

And I give you guys credit. For every single situation, you have multiple choice selections to be outraged over lined up.
If he went I am sure it was a PR stunt and you would be talking about all the money spent because of the change in travel itineraries. Because ten idiots on twitter is a news story these days.

Where on Facebook did I whine about this? I saw it this morning and had a chuckle. Trust me, I am laughing because you know Trump hates Obama and hates any criticism. Can't you guys laugh at anything Trump related? Jesus. Lol. You guys crack me up. My bad, he takes criticism better than anyone in history ever has. Wasn't outraged. You say that any time others post unless you agree with them. Outraged? Youre outraged that I shared a story and said why it made me chuckle. Now, I am gonna go outrage dance in my quiet place! HahaFoo wrote:And I give you guys credit. For every single situation, you have multiple choice selections to be outraged over lined up.

why is it okay to be "garden variety" if you're republican/conservative, but always a jab when it's democrat/liberal?

So what was wrong about what Trump said about the fires? If you ask for federal money to maintain the forests, and you get it, shouldn't you be doing it?Jmac Attack wrote:I shared Trump's comments about the wildfires yesterday. Pretty sure I always slam RINOs. There is actually a lot more diversity on the right at the moment, so you don't see the people who coincidentally share every major policy position as often on the right.zombie wrote:why is it okay to be "garden variety" if you're republican/conservative, but always a jab when it's democrat/liberal?
For instance, there are TONS of pro-choice republicans, but almost no pro-life democrats. there are TONS of republicans for relaxed marijuana laws, but almost no democrats advocating for tougher restrictions.
Democrats are so monolithic, even when it doesn't really make sense that they should be.

I don't know of anything you significantly disagree with the Democrats on. Feel free to share.
For me and the Republicans:
- pro-choice
- advocate government completely out of marriage
- push for criminal justice reform through trial
- hard stance on civil rights abuses by trading partners
- would dismantle medicare, medicaid, and SS

Simple question: Do you believe that proper forest management designed to prevent such massive wildfires would be effective? Because that is what Trump believes and what the taxpayers have been paying for and not getting. Instead they get goofy tree huggers who want no intervention controlling local policy.
I live adjacent to a conservation area, but also in a conservative pocket of the state. They constantly manage the forest because it will get out of hand and become dangerous. California will not allow proper management of those areas.
Re: About that "blue wave"...
we've debated enough that you probably have a good idea of my politics. if that doesn't differ from the democrats, then maybe there is more variety than you wanna admit?Foo wrote:

are you pro-choice? it feels like you lean more in the direction of pro-life to me.
