Re: College Football
I definitely think Georgia is better than Oklahoma and Ohio State, but if you put them in, what's the point of even playing the games? Losses and conference titles need to mean something.
Just have Georgia, Alabama and Clemson play a round robin every year if putting the best teams in is the only criteria. They will be the three most talented teams every year for the foreseeable future.

They need to think about going up to eight teams.

Re: College Football
Looks like a done deal.
Alabama opens as a 14 point favorite over Oklahoma, Clemson an 11.5 point favorite over Notre Dame.

Agreed. 5 major conference champions, 3 "wild cards"Monster wrote:They need to think about going up to eight teams.
Would be Bama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Georgia, Washington and either Michigan or UCF.

I think Oklahoma being able to avenge their loss is the done deal for me.Headhunter wrote:The Oklahoma/Ohio State debate is interesting, but given that Oklahoma still ranked ahead of Ohio State even after the Michigan win, I don't see how Ohio State jumps Oklahoma.
Ohio State is a better all-around team at their best, but they don't do anything consistently. Oklahoma is statistically the best offense in college football history. Ohio State has the best win, but also a much worse loss. And the losses are more important to evaluate when splitting hairs. I think the Big 12 top to bottom was a better conference than the Big 10. Oklahoma ended up beating every team they played. Also...picking Oklahoma means not having to talk about scumbag Urban and his wild card WR coach for a month.

One of my buddies here is from Alabama (and went to Alabama) and he told me they catch deadbeat parents who don't pay child support there by offering them free Iron Bowl tickets and arresting them when they show up to collect.

Yeah two tripe option teams is not great entertainment. They reserve an entire week for basically just that game.showa58taro wrote:Lol. Wow that’s tasteless.

Suck on that, Paul Finebaum!
Re: College Football
Uh oh. Take back the Heisman and cancel his contract. Kyler Murray said something un-PC when he was a freshman in high school.

Turning down the opportunity to be an NFL quarterback to ride busses in the Central Valley for two years is a pussy move.

if he were a real man he'd stay in Norman another year. That's my totally unbiased opinion.
