For me, simply not expanding the massive entitlements that are breaking us is a big deal, as he would be rare in modern times for that alone.
Possibly, but again, that's not Top 10 worthy, he hasn't done anything. He hasn't expanded anything because he hasn't actually signed any major legislation into law.
Good. We really do not need more laws. As far as I am concerned, you could elect a dog and it could walk into to Oval Office and shut right on the floor and be one of the best presidents because he has not done real damage.

Look at Obama. Perfect example. His signature achievement is an imploding mess. No one is killing it, it is failing on its own.
I can only say I disagree.

What's there to disagree with Obamacare is failing and will fail no matter what happens.

No no, I agree Obamacare needs to be fixed or scrapped. What I mean is that it's no good being Oresident and doing nothing for 4-8 years. That's a bunch of bullshit right there.

Is it better to do nothing and allow the market to handle an issue, or try to intervene and fuck everything 100x worse. The discipline to allow time to heal a wound is under appreciated and under rated.

Depends on the issue. For Obamacare, it won't be a market fix. It needs to be dove in law.

I am not so sure. Maybe they should just let it go and say, "this is the democrat plan! Enjoy!". Then fix it after people realize it is 100% necessary.

Sadly most voters are too stupid to realize that all this healthcare grief and misery is 100% the democrats fault and they will blame whoever is in power. Even now democrats are blaming republicans for Obamacare failing and millions of dumb fucks believe them. This thing crashes Republicans will pay the price.

Since we already have a health care thread going...

Rick Perry is back on his bullshut, saying things so jaw-droppingly stupid you have to take a step back and wonder if you're living in the same reality. Our secretary of energy!

The intellectual dishonesty of Republicans on climate change for the dual purpose of being too gutless to admit it's just another expense they don't want to pay for, generations ahead be damned (while spending allllll the money on defense), and catering to the inflexible and selfish demands of their creationist constitutents is downright embarrassing for a 21st century global leader.

I struggle to be able to have a discussion on the sheer unfathomable stupidity of Republicans on climate change. I genuinely get actually angry at those cunts trying to fuck over others for the sake of.... fuck knows.

All we need is a $10 Trillion slush fund controlled by the liberal elites and we can make the weather anything we want!

Climate change is bullshit.

Like, just admit you don't give a shit and view the world myopically. That's more respectable than the intellectually dishonest spin zone.

1. They'd rather flush that money down the defense toilet.
2. They have to pretend to be stupid to appease the sensitivity of Creationists

The science behind it is corrupt. It is about money. Al Gore has turned it into a $300 M four tune and many others, including con men like Elon Musk have made billions off the scam.

At best the science is guesswork. At worst it is deliberate fraud.

Hyperbolic statements about "the warmest year ever!" are designed to scare people. We know that temperate and cold regions were once tropical, but that is dismissed. Before there was climate change there was global warming, before that, there was global cooling. In the 1970s they were predicting massive food shortages due to weather. It is all lies spread by those opportunists positioned to profit.

What is the creationist angle, exactly? Just their lack of believing certain things of science? I would think that whether you believed God created us or we evolved from dung, the core of the argument is do humans have an impact on the environment/climate. Well yeah, the question is how much.

Consider for a moment that people are angry about the US not doing enough, but say jack shit about India, Africa, China, etc. Phony outrage. Quit running your car and air conditioning if your really care. Instead it is a reason to just whine and expect others to do it all.
