You know you don't have to have an opinion about everything, right...
This one, for example, was definitely one to just chill on the sidelines for. Everyone was better off.

You do you.Jmac Attack wrote:Jiggy.....if you are out there ...who should I be checking out? I'm not a socialist though, lol. I think capitalism and socialism go together like peanut butter and chocolate.
I don't know who I support at the moment, and I likely won't know for many months. I might, might vote for Sander if he's the nominee, but I don't expect it, and voting for any other Democrat in the race would be an insult to me beliefs (and Bernie's pushing it, as he's still a capitalist).
There are plenty of interesting Green Party candidates running, among them Howie Hawkins and Dario Hunter. Two socialist parties have announced tickets, including Socialist Action (they're running Jeff Mackler again) and the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL, who's running Gloria la Riva).
The party I'm a member of, the SPUSA (Socialist Party USA) hasn't voted on whether or not we're running a presidential campaign, but we generally do, and once that vote's taken, we'll nominate candidates and see if we can maybe get better than Mimi Soltysik (who I think personally is a nice guy, but I had issues with his campaign).
I'd recommend, what with still believing in capitalism, to look into either any of the Democrats running, or a Green Party nominee if they'll be on either your ballot or attain write-in status.

Finnish Prez admonished Trump for his stance on Europe and Trump squirmed and looked uncomfortable, then ranted about nonsense and kept bringing up Schiff. It was hilarious.Jmac Attack wrote:Wait ...what did I miss? I'm cooking right now....showa58taro wrote:Finland taking no shit. Boom

Re: Random Political Comments
It was a huge deal when it happened. There was something clearly off about the guy laughing when thinking he was off camera, then seconds later putting his "game face" on. It was all over youtube, but if you try to search for him laughing in the seconds before the interview, you will never find it. There has been an active hunt to remove all existing videos of him doing this. Now all you get is the interview of him crying, with no tears, and anyone who thinks it's weird to see a guy laughing and then immediately crying with no tears is labeled a scumbag and a conspiracy theorist.showa58taro wrote:Not that I have a clue about whatJason is on about but grief is very difficult to predict, maybe one to contemplate.
Re: Random Political Comments
What is up with blackface, and why do race-baiting, white liberal politicians tend to get busted for dressing up like it? :p
Re: Random Political Comments
sounds like we need context. which it doesn't look like we're gonna get. we don't know what he was feeling or reacting to, with the laughing before the interview. if sandy hook happened, what does it matter how one guy reacted?Jason wrote:It was a huge deal when it happened. Yes. You know what else happened? That weird, phony interview.zombie wrote:but sandy hook happened, right?
Re: Random Political Comments
yeah, sandy hook happened. and a parent of one of the victims reacted in a weird way on camera. that's all we've got. unless you have a bigger take.Jason wrote:Yes. You know what else happened? That weird, phony interview.zombie wrote:but sandy hook happened, right?
Re: Random Political Comments
We have seen the liberal media silence survivors of school shootings who advocate for a pro-gun stance. Perhaps there is a connection.zombie wrote:yeah, sandy hook happened. and a parent of one of the victims reacted in a weird way on camera. that's all we've got. unless you have a bigger take.Jason wrote:Yes. Re: Random Political Comments
maybe so. to what end? did it bring us closer to some kind of legislation or regulation? nearly seven years on, what did it change, in that regard?Jason wrote:We have seen the liberal media silence survivors of school shootings who advocate for a pro-gun stance. Oh this is soooo goddamn embarrassing.
Quit pussyfooting around and just call him a crisis actor. Fuck outta here with "perhaps" and "something is off" and all that other bullshit. Just let the crazy all the way out, that would be 100x more respectable than what you're doing now, which is the most cringe-inducing, limp dick way you could possibly go about it.

liberal politicians act in ways to further their cause, and sometimes go to dishonest means in that cause. we agree. can we move on?Jason wrote:In terms of honesty to the public? Nothing.

Re: Random Political Comments
As you can see, there is no low that’s low enough for some of these conservatives.
And if anyone even approaches the paint with some “Both sides” silliness, I’m going to Mutombo block that shit all the way out the arena. No.
