I told you about the music.

I watched Song Of The Dead the other day and at least the music fit for what was happening.

Part 3 is the official sequel to the remake. Part 2 is a separate story.

Indeed I did. Solid flick. Juggling between an 8.5/10 and a 9/10.

It was just over-the-top and ridiculous enough during some of the montages that it deserves only my highest praise. :P

We may have enjoyed it equally. I am just stingy with my high ratings.

Well, after looking over what I've seen this month so far, it's in my top three favorite first-time viewings (along with B.O.R.N. and The Banana Splits Movie). So while it's not A+ material, I won't say I didn't enjoy the hell out of it (especially when the movie veered more toward feeling like Easy A out of nowhere). :P

Thanks for the heads up. I was more interested in a continuation.

Watching Shadow of the Vampire instead. Loved this one, but Alli hasn't seen it yet.

Considering his 7's and below are failures, it's really not that high :P

*puts on glasses to look smart, despite the fact he always wears glasses*

Technically, my 7/10 are average, not failures. I don't particularly love these movies, but they're okay, and just find themselves somewhere in the middle. Good example might be The Wolfman (2010), actually. Need to dwell on it a bit before writing my review and deciding what to rate it.

Lmfao! True! However, Jiggy writes the best reviews. I always look forward to them.

DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Yeah, so far Revenge is my favorite of my new-watches. Oddly, the injuries, except maybe Jen's initial tree injury (and her resurrection did seem a little bit a hint of The Crow, but with an eagle...or was I the only one that thought that?), didn't scream to me as insta-deaths. People can take damage if they're built for it.

It's stuff like why the beer can image didn't mirror on her stomach or why is a shotgun shooting like a rifle that stood out, but those are teeny nitpicks :P
I mean I have no real baseline. Just seemed a few times there was just tons of blood being lost without too much of an impaired ability to run/drive. But I must admit I don’t know that to be the case. The shotgun shells in a sniper rifle thing was definitely strange. But as you said worth just going with it. Definitely a great thing to watch.

Sort of off topic, but unfortunately my computer is acting up on me and has to go in to the shop later today. I know I was not a "threat" to most of you, but I was
hoping for better numbers this year. I will be down for almost a week. I will do what I can with what I have left here to watch movies on. I shall return as often as I am able.

I consider it a personal Challenge I'm not competing with anyone that's why I don't care about movie lengths.

Might be worth mentioning that the link in my siggy is where I mainly post reviews. Some of them have been seen on HMF, but the most recent thirty or so, I don't believe I posted here. I have 232 up right now, and I try to post daily. If you or anyone is interested, check back for the most recent posts or here (https://jigsawshorrorcorner.wordpress.c ... -reviewed/) for the complete list of things I've reviewed by year.

Cheers. :P

(And I know the link's been in my signature for a bit, but I don't think I've actually pointed it out before).
