I should correct myself. Only some supporters. But he has his die hards. I know some cool Trump supporters.
What would be considered a "die hard supporter"? Am I one?
Defending him, no matter what, is what makes me think that you are a die hard supporter. I mean, that's a pretty good definition.
I wanted to slap him upside the head when he implemented a bump stock ban and threw a little fuel to the fire of the war on violent video games. I am not defending him on that regard. But nobody asks me about that. They'd rather focus on his tweets where he calls Stormy Daniels a horse face (which is hilarious, by the way) and use that as the springboard to bash him. But some of you want gun control. Sure as hell haven't heard any of you praise him for the bump stock ban...

But I am a gun guy. I did say something about the bump stock ban. I didn't agree with it.

Are you an open borders kinda guy? Do you also hate seeing job growth in this country?

I would be weirded out if Trump fucked a goat.
I would be weirded out if Obama fucked a goat.
That's funny. However, you missed my point. You would still support Trump, and not Obama. You are everything you accuse others of. Get it? And I would say the same about Obama supporters. It's ironic, isn't it.
As long as whatever president I support continues to implement policies I agree with, I will continue to support him even after he fucks a goat.

If we were to find out today that Eisenhower fucked a goat, I would not wake up tomorrow and say "Wow, he is a shitty president".
To elaborate a little further, I'm pretty sure this is an actual true story where Teddy Roosevelt once opened his window and shot his neighbor's dog because it wouldn't stop barking. Pretty shitty of him, doesn't take back all the good he did for this country.

So now we are just breaking down my political ideology?

Ok, I'm game.

1. Open borders kind of guy? Hmmmmm. No. I do believe that border security is important. But I'm not into having a wall across our borders. Seems really creepy to me.

2. I love job growth! Who wouldn't? It's been going up for about 8 years now. I think we give too much credit to our presidents, and not enough credit to us, the American people.

What in the hell is creepy about having a border wall? What is your solution to protecting a 2,000 mile long border with no wall?

Ya boi Bill Maher doesn't like job growth and a booming economy when someone he doesn't like is president.

Ugh.

1. What is creepy about a wall? Because I don't ever want our country to be blocked in. That's no freedom.

2. What's my solution? None of has a "solution". I just don't agree with a wall. What's your solution? A wall?

3. I do like Maher's show, because he gets great guests. I disagree with him a lot, actually.

1. This may be the silliest thing I have ever heard.

2. Yes.

3. Maher outed mainstream Trump detractors by revealing that he would rather the country be set on fire than refer to Donald Trump as "Mr. President".
Maher's gaffe is probably going to be featured on many of Trump's 2020 campaign re-election commercials, and he deserves it.

Jason conveniently ignores Bill Taylor and jumps to border walls. A notion so dated literally no country has one across an extended border with a neighbor.

I tend to ignore and/or laugh at irrelevant political figures that are shoved into the spotlight by the mainstream media because Orange Man bad. Bill Taylor is the most irrelevant political figure since Greta Thornbert and his impeachment case is the biggest nothingburger we've seen since "Russia hacked our elections". Van Jones, a frontrunner of the movement, flat out said it was a nothingburger without realizing he had a camera in his face.

I swear, you guys are stuck in the Intro-to-Politics Tutorial Level. There will be no vote to impeachment over this and it will be funny if they tried. All they're doing with this is trying to keep Trump under investigation in an attempt to hurt his re-election chances. "We have DAMNING evidence we won't show you... Again..." Do you not see the pattern here? What they're giving us is nothing new. A president says to a foreign state "I'm going to withhold money to you until you investigate the possibility that your country may have been in some part involved in our elections". Is that unlawful? NO! That's what these retards had been screaming for since day one of Trump's election. The democrats literally went from "Our elections cannot be meddled with" to "Election interference, election interference, election interference!" in a matter of hours. The president is tasked with the security of this country. What could possibly be more important than making sure our election system is unscathed?... HELLO?!?!?! And they're threatening to impeach him?? Hilarious! I am begging them to try it. They're not going to, because as I said before, this is a political strategy to keep him under investigation in an attempt to decrease his odds of a second term. It's pretty gross. I've never seen such a pathetic group of sore losers in my entire life. There used to be a time throughout history up until not-so-long-ago when a president was elected that you'd wish him to be successful in doing his best for the country. Now it doesn't matter. "Team blue, no matter who! Let us pray for a great depression so we can get our blue suits back in power!" The democratic party is the most corrupt party in America's history.

That's all this is. Dinner is served. Enjoy your bland, tasteless nothingburger.

van jones said it was a nothing burger because nothing was gonna ever stick, which it was clear at that point that's what was happening. it is cool to constantly go back and take that out of context and twist the words to try to fit your narrative though.
