Idk, sounds like 70s valley girl all the way to me but I wasn't there.

Could be. I just have no memory of anyone talking like that before Friends.

I was thinking 80's valley girl types. Early 80's.

I'm wondering if there was any intersection of late 60s hippie lingo and early 80s valley girl lingo. There are some commonalities.

Finally getting around to watching Triple Frontier. Disasterpiece is doing the music score. I loved his score for It Follows, so I'm looking forward to hearing this.

Oh, and I watched Sorcerer this morning for the first time. Holy fucking shit, that is a legit masterpiece. One of the most hellish settings ever put on film, beautiful in its on way.

Unfortunate timing: it was released at the same time as Star Wars and was completely overrun. Huge box office flop and one of the biggest catalysts for the "New Hollywood" era ending and the studios reasserting themselves. But on its own merits, it's a great movie.

Is that the one directed by Friedkin and scored by Tangerine Dream?

So far, pretty decent, but I'm sure it would've been better had Katheryn Bigelow actually directed it.

Let It Snow

What does this film need? Le tits now.

Netflix original. Like a modern attempt at a Love Actually film. Ensemble cast with a diaspora of stories and romantic entanglements.
