Lol. I love my team, but I've been let down so much. Its ownership. Did you know that the people of Cincinnati fucking pay for that stadium to boot? Yeah. Don't fuck this up, Bengals.
I think Zac made a mistake going back to Dalton. He's fighting for his career now, not a good recipe for securing #1.

Re: College Football
Man....arm strength is overrated. Smarts and to improvise is key. Look at Wilson, LJ, or even Favre. Sure, they have big time arms, but that is not what's impressed everyone. I mean, Brandon fucking Weedon had one of the best arms I've ever seen. But he couldn't hit any reciever if his life depended on it. Peyton and Brady never had any arm strength. But, you fix that footwork, and long passes and accuracy can be achieved.Headhunter wrote:Joe Burrow looks like he's got all the tools except the big arm. I just turned on the LSU game. Fromm has impressed me this year. But looking at his stats for this game, it doesn't look good!

Yeah, Peyton would go 25/33 throwing DUCKS. There are a few occasions where not having the zip can hurt you but not nearly as much as a lack of accuracy, touch and anticipation will hurt you.Jmac Attack wrote:Man....arm strength is overrated. Jake has a lot of great intangibles. I think he's probably a long term backup. If he can do that for 10-15 years and win you games when needed, there's value in that.Jmac Attack wrote:I just turned on the LSU game. Fromm has impressed me this year. Zero reason for that poverty franchise to not have a stadium sponsor. Zero.Jmac Attack wrote:Lol. I love my team, but I've been let down so much. Its ownership. One thing that has impressed me about him, is his accuracy throwing into tight windows. He is not afraid of the INT because he knows he will out it where the receiver has an advantage to catch the ball. But, that could get a QB into trouble in the NFL for sure.Headhunter wrote:Jake has a lot of great intangibles. I think he's probably a long term backup. No doubt. The thing is, and its disgusting, but the Bengals have so much money under the cap. That cap is meant to help small market teams. So what does Mike Brown do? Spend the least amount out of any NFL franchise. It makes me realize that Marvin Lewis was a helluva coach. I admit I wanted him gone, but I realize that it was never really his fault.

Man, these LSU athletes are just different., especially on defense. It's weird and I've thought this for a long time. Bama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State...all get a ton of elite athletes. LSU has just always felt a little faster than all of them. It's just taken them forever to take advantage of it offensively.

Kinda like Florida State circa 97ish. Those players were insanely fast.Headhunter wrote:Man, these LSU athletes are just different., especially on defense. Re: College Football
Very much so. Nowadays the Florida recruiting gets cut into by too many schools for any team to have a big advantage. Clemson has really hurt the Florida schools by stealing a lot of those guys. But LSU locks down the New Orleans guys, and that's become one of the bigger athletic hotbeds in the South.Jmac Attack wrote:Kinda like Florida State circa 97ish. Mixed emotions. I'm glad they're in the top 4, but dammit they're not beating LSU.

Only question now is if LSU jumps Ohio State. They really should. Big difference in getting Clemson vs. getting Oklahoma in the first round.

They jumped them.
Re: College Football
Dear God. OU fans are as bad as Star Wars fans. EVERYTHING is a conspiracy against Oklahoma. Yes, they've been to 4/5 CFPs because the committee hates them. And if you point out how absurd this is you're a "fake fan". I suppose every fanbase has folks like that. I suspect that, like me, most of them didn't even go to OU.

That’s funny. The powers that be WANT blue bloods like Oklahoma. What they didn’t want was a team like Utah mucking things up.Monster wrote:Dear God. OU fans are as bad as Star Wars fans.
