Re: Random Political Comments
But the DNC bit is absurd. This year had sone 20+ candidates from every political hone imaginable in the democratic field. If people wanted something else there was every chance to get that. It’s not the DNC who need to pick better anything. Voters now face the choice between Biden and Trump. And if you can live with Trump then don’t vote Biden. And vice versa. And then you get to live in that country for the next 4 years. It’s irrelevant what ideal or non-Lemon would’ve looked like. You forfeited better choices and now you get one of two outcomes and you decide which matters.zombie wrote:yeah, the voters will get the blame for not voting a lemon. like i said.showa58taro wrote:No. Not this. Not to me, I think you can go with a return to normalcy that won’t light the world on fire and won’t last 8 (or even 4 perhaps) years or continued insanity that will ruin you. The one thing I trust Biden to do is not surround himself with sycophant assclowns who bow to his every whim to be a God-king. That is the one thing he will do which will make him better. Trump literally can’t close an umbrella or make a coherent sentence so it’s not like that’s any better. But nobody will tell him he’s an idiot.Headhunter wrote:Biden is not capable of tying his shoes.showa58taro wrote:Biden is capable of leading. Patrick Chovanec put it best. Trump says he has all the power, but also none of the responsibility. Must be nice.
Great line.

Annnnd here's what he actually said...
"For the purpose of creating conflict and confusion, some in the Fake News Media are saying that it is the Governors decision to open up the states, not that of the President of the United States & the Federal Government. Let it be fully understood that this is incorrect. It is the decision of the President, and for many good reasons. With that being said, the Administration and I are working closely with the Governors, and this will continue. A decision by me, in conjunction with the Governors and input from others, will be made shortly!"
- President Trump
Thanks again for being wickedly disingenuous, guys. The lengths you'll go to in order to justified your weird obsession with hating him is astounding.

I won't smack your ass because no homo, but I'll continue to say you guys are weirdly obsessed... Also... Nice pivot there, J-Mac. Trump literally addressed this in the actual quote. Fake News media misrepresenting and spreading false narratives. Then you post the exact shit Trump is talking about to try to justify the argument. Lol.
Read the God damn quote and stop listening to third party media outlets interpreting words for you. You guys are grown ups, you can do it! Read the actual quote! I'm willing to discuss with you all what he said with the actual quote, and how YOU interpret it... not willing to discuss how someone else's biased twist of words makes you feel about it. Seek genuinity, not justification for bias.

i do not know the context around it, but trump did say that his "authority is total". that may be where jmac and seb are coming from, but again i don't know the context really.

Re: Random Political Comments
Just reading his quote is all that needs to be done. Neither of them did, obviously. Do you have a thought on his actual quote that you want to address? Or are you just indifferent? I thought it was a perfectly ok thing to say.zombie wrote:i do not know the context around it, but trump did say that his "authority is total". that may be where jmac and seb are coming from, but again i don't know the context really.

Trump is the least authoritative president we've had in all of our lifetimes. The fact you're pissing about this fully shows your bias and why the News & Politics board is a total shitshow.
