It will get heated. Can't take it, don't open the forum.

The subject was not black people. The subject was you projecting phony heroism. Another misread. Congrats.
I said you invoked black people. Did you not invoke black people? Are you denying something plainly in your post? You are so dense tonight I almost feel like a bully for pointing it out.
This has nothing to do with black people, but here you are yet again, proving my point by projecting that phony heroism I alluded to.
It didn’t have anything to do with black people...you yourself brought up black people as a weird analogy. Please seek help for your mental ineptitude and racism.

Yes, you've been so fair and kind to me in the way we discuss politics and sports.
Not about me and you. It’s about you and everyone else. But the important thing here is change no matter who pushes you into it, so whatever gets you to Point B is wonderful.
I told you before, trying to bring the board into our nonsense is unbecoming. Nobody is siding with either of us. Stop pretending to be a hero for them like you do with black people.
Again, not “our” nonsense. Don’t care how you interact with me. It’s about what Zombie (a member of...*gasp*...the rest of the board), just pointed out: your inability to give fellow posters credit for forming their own opinions. You agreed that you’ll stop, so nothing about me or you matters at all.
Uhh.. you misread (again, as per the usual). I never agreed to stop something that I do not do.
Wow, I take back everything nice I said. You really are a delusional cult freak.
So you take back nothing. Surprising.
I complimented your willingness to change and get to Point B (in this very quote tree), as prompted by Zombie’s post. Now I know you have the deluded belief that you don’t do the things Zombie pointed out. You do, by the way. Every time. Please change that.
I will not change civil conversations with zomb, sorry. He does not treat me like shit.
I know. You treat him like shit. You also treat J-Mac and Seb like shit. Why do you think Zombie made that point about respecting opinions to YOU if it doesn’t apply to you?

It had nothing to do with black people and everything to do with your phony heroism, to which I cited specific examples, and to which you're projecting yet again.

I don't know if you noticed, but there's this whole "Audrey Hepburn" thing going on right now, and I'd appreciate it if you weren't so disrespectful to my friend zomb. Perhaps you could join in on the civil conversation with me and my friend zomb!

Loved it, as I generally do with those 50s and 60s suspense thrillers. But I have also yet to see an Audrey movie I don't love.

Basically all I did was note that I’ve been asking of you exactly what Zombie asked of you, in both cases for the sake of the board. Yet I’m a “phony hero”, which I guess also triggered your racism? Just odd.

Yes, I did notice that you guys are talking about Hepburn in the wrong thread after disingenuously agreeing with Zombie that you’d start respecting people’s opinions.

the ones that i would recommend most highly (that aren't the big four, or charade) are robin and marian, wait until dark, how to steal a million, two for the road, funny face, and the nun's story.

I'll get on those eventually. Funny Face is one that's always been on the radar, and I own My Fair Lady but still haven't seen.

Push everyone around, yes. I've never called you a name or told Seb to "Fuck Off", but I'm the big bad bully. It's you who doesn't respect my opinion.

everybody stop! :P

head isn't disrespecting me or our opinions on film.

and you have frequently dismissed people's opinions, as just irrational hate, or being led by some media source. i'll point it out when you do it, in the future. unless you don't. which would be very cool.

Yes you don’t throw around meaningless insults, you gaslight people and tell them they’re incapable of forming their own opinions.

And that should equally apply to me and everyone else. We’re smart people capable of making independent arguments, insinuating otherwise is just being a dick.

You're right. I did that just a day or two ago with J-Mac. He formed the opinion that Trump said, out of the blue, with no context, that Trump can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants. I showed the context proving that it was indeed media propaganda. Context is important. :)
