You really like that better than what we watched last night? When I was falling asleep I was still thinking about that silhouette fire scene. Is that the most beautiful imagery ever in a horror film?Monster wrote:lol That seems to be the general consensus.Tiggnutz wrote:That was awful I will never watch this again :xDancesWithWerewolves wrote:Just wait till the ending...Tiggnutz wrote:Scratch that they did kiss just later in the sceneTiggnutz wrote:Not just teen soapy crap but Canadian teen soapy crap the production and camera work is identical. Re: What are you watching?
The 76 version is certainly a better made film, I would never claim otherwise. It all really comes down to the actress. The way Bettis played her just struck a chord. I'm more emotionally invested in her portrayal.Tiggnutz wrote:You really like that better than what we watched last night? Re: What are you watching?
I remember my first introduction to Carrie. It was on the school bus in the morning and I was very young. To put it into perspective, I vividly remember kids doing the who shot JR thing with the fingers. (If you dont know what that is, I can explain further). So, VERY early 80s. But some older kid dropped the book and I picked it up. Saw the back of it (soft cover edition) and it had a picture of Carrie in which Tiggs was talking about. It scared the fuck outta me lol. But yeah, it was beautiful in a weird way. A few years later....I finally got to watch it.

Yeah, I always thought that was bitchin'. I think the back cover was a close up of Carrie covered in blood at the prom now that I think about it.Tiggnutz wrote:

Porno. It's a horror film about a succubus. I just saw ruptured nuts. It was mostly bad comedy up until this point, so that was unexpected.

Didn’t do much for me. Lot of style, not enough substance. There’s a mermaid pussy in it.Reign in Blood wrote:That's all you got, eh?Headhunter wrote:I’ve seen a lot of movies and this was certainly one of them.Headhunter wrote:The Lighthouse
