So what if there's a few lazy people. Are you seriously telling me the only thing that got all the greats out of bed was the idea they had low taxes instead of money, or success or recognition.Jason wrote:If only the world were made up of unicorns, rainbows and farts.
Sorry, Seb. Too many lazy and irresponsible people in this world for the world to have such a fairy tale culture.

They really suck at crafting anything useful for sure. With luck both sides can now work together to fix the exchanges and improve subsidies to reintroduce variety in the marketplace.Tiggnutz wrote:Not really just proof Republicans are useless and shitty at their jobs.showa58taro wrote:Trumpcare DoA. Re: Trumpcare 2.1
Republicans are naturally better suited for criticizing legislation than creating it in so I think doing nothing until 2018 and repeating what a disaster Obamacare was is really their best option. They never wanted any part of health care.

GreT to see McConnell get fucked. Proclaims a "Repeal now, replace later" plan that is instantly killed. Ha! What a cunt.

Trump: well let obamacare fail then come up with a plan.
Dude, if you stand idle and watch a problem go badly, YOU are at fault. You can't blame democrats at that point. Good luck with that logic.

I wouldn't be so confident in logic here. All of our politics are riddled with "whataboutisms", people really buy into them. Blaming Obama repeatedly will be good enough for half the country.showa58taro wrote:Trump: well let obamacare fail then come up with a plan.

I disagree. That was fine when you could promise to get into power and then repeal and replace. Now you just look foolish.Headhunter wrote:I wouldn't be so confident in logic here. It is a disaster of epic proportions. So yes, often doing nothing is better then mindlessly legislating. Republicans cannot agree because there is more variety within that party right now. Dems are united against opposing Trump, and conveniently forgetting they created this disaster.

It is like making a bomb, lighting the fuse, and then blaming someone else for not preventing the explosion. Liberalism really is a mental disorder.
Re: Trumpcare 2.1
Also, let me define "retarded". Retarded is claiming something is going to reduce the cost of healthcare when that very thing adds taxes to medical devices and high quality healthcare plans.
"This is our affordable soda plan! We are going to make soda more affordable by making devices that make soda more expensive. We are also going to put a tax on some sodas. Sodas will be more affordable though, because we are gonna make you buy them and we say so."

It has flaws but its also got fixes to those flaws. Half the negative vets arose from Republicans not renewing the market incentivized anyway. Making it more untenable. And the recent issues are all the instability caused by Republicans fucking around.Foo wrote:"This legislation is so great I am proud to put my name on it!"

This is some of my favorite democrat bullshit. It has a few flaws,it only needs to be tweaked a little. One of those little flaws that needs to be tweaked is how to pay for itshowa58taro wrote:It has flaws but its also got fixes to those flaws. It definitely has it's flaws, and I never liked it. There are people that I know, that it actually saved their life. One being Amber's best friend's dad. And he hates Obama, lol. Trump and the Republicans are failing YOU....us......on this. You will never admit it though.Jason wrote:Obamacare nearly killed me. Re: Trumpcare 2.1
It has a fundamental flaw, in that it failed to address medical costs and enshrined the retardation that is the insurance industry. But it also has fixes to the smaller flaws which keep it from being expensive for exchanges and limiting market places for insurers. Ultimately it's the step towards universal healthcare the US needs. It's not the end goal.Tiggnutz wrote:This is some of my favorite democrat bullshit.
