Just started The First Power (1990).
Don't really know much about this, but boy, does Lou Diamond Phillips look young.

I remember it not being horror. When it came out, I was disappointed. The trailer had a pentagram and shit. I thought it was gonna kickass lol.Jigsaw wrote:Just started The First Power (1990).

Re: October Challenge 2020 Discussion Thread
I much not have watched JGTH enough to have noticed a snapped wrist gore, I can't even remember seeing it in the first place. Also can't recall if there was no audio for the Jason X sleeping bag scene, and I didn't watch the 3D version of 3, so didn't notice. I might as well fill it out just in case.Jason wrote:To D (and anyone else who bought Shout Factory's F13 box set)

Checking out Sheep Skin.
Saw Tubi had a fuck ton of horror movies last night, so I'll probably be on that format for the rest of the day.

Watched Nosferatu earlier today, now going into Dracula. Have to admit to some biases with this film, as I, in many aspects, grew up watching this and other Universal horror.

So far it's been an interrogation with bad dialogue. It's better man than several of these other bad werewolf movies I've watched this challenge, but that's not saying muchHavok wrote:Tell me how Sheep Skin turns out, i've been meaning to check it out for awhile now.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Checking out Sheep Skin.

So, it's sort of like Big Bad Wolves and Save The Green Planet?DancesWithWerewolves wrote:So far it's been an interrogation with bad dialogue. Necessary Spoiler for Havok: Yes, it is a werewolf movie. I was growing concerned so close to the end and was beginning to think I've been bamboozled
For a $25k budget, it wasn't shabby.

I'm actually not sure I've seen Big Bad Wolves (I've seen Big Bad Wolf, with Richard Tyson though). Never heard of The Green Planet :/Havok wrote:So, it's sort of like Big Bad Wolves and Save The Green Planet?DancesWithWerewolves wrote:So far it's been an interrogation with bad dialogue. Re: October Challenge 2020 Discussion Thread
I am already hating Dark Moon Rising with a passion. It's got the most annoying opening credits music I've ever heard...
