Let's be real, Trump didn't know what Aleppo was a few years ago. Trump still thinks health care is life insurance and he's what, 70?

If Johnson were somehow elected, every single illegal immigrant would be flooding the border with Johnson's arms wide open. Including Syrian refugees.

Actually it wouldn't be that bad, the key difference being Gary by all accounts has character and Trump is almost a caricature of a scumbag. I'm imagining him not lying every time he opens his mouth and that's refreshing.

Your anticipation of disaster is not adjusted to the reality of Trump being uniquely unhinged.
Have you noticed that Trump draws huge crowds of supporters? Have you noticed that Gary Johnson draws small crowds that smell like marijuana smoke?

With Trump, you either get him or you don't. He is a fearless ball buster. He will change his mind and largely ignores what would be traditional politics.

I appreciate his sense of humor and trolling. I love how he blurts out what he is thinking on twitter. It is transparency you do not see enough of. He is a game changer. The true outsider challenging convention.

For the sake of comparison, many thought Obama was different. He turned out to be just a different color of Democrat snake in the garden. No new ideas. Just regurgitated and rewarmed liberal bullshit. Could have been anyone, as they all operate in lockstep.

I know Head's not gonna watch these videos, but it is funny to see Johnson go full psychopath and SJW in all these interviews. Look at him pretending to be outraged when a reporter calls illegal immigrants... "Illegal immigrants".

Who cares? No one else knows about Aleppo until it is relevant to them. Just like all the conflicts in the Middle East. Do you think any politician knows jack about it until they are being briefed? This is the good and the bad of our system. Our politicians must make decisions based on what the deep state guys and advisors tell them, and there are always agendas at play.

When Obama took office, what do you think he knew about managing anything but a campaign? Do you think he had the slightest clue about the business world? About how companies make decisions? His entire life was built around campaigning for public office.

Trump makes an ass out of himself publicly every time he talks, so idk. You could post a YouTube clip of Gary every day for the next year and Trump would still have more laughable moments.

I wasn't responding to you on the Aleppo point, I was responding to Jason's Aleppo "gotcha" that nobody should care about. So yeah, exactly. I don't care. That was the point of that post. Talk to Jason about your take on it, not me.

People know what the wall Trump promised to build represents. There is some education there.

Healthcare is always gonna be a problem because people will never wrap their mind around it. Medicaid and subsidies have created such a moocher class that 90% of the moochers think they are contributing.

...it represents the failure of an education system to not emphasize how historically walls have failed time and time again, and only create more problems for the states who build them. Sorry, no educational brownie points for anyone on the wrong side there.

No argument there. The Obamacare =/= ACA contingent ideally shouldn't vote or breed though.

Oh I see. I only hold a politicians feet to the fire for ignorance when they take a position on something.

Like there was the whole phony outrage over Trump not rebuking the David Duke endorsement. Was obvious he had no idea who David Duke was, or even why he would even address such an endorsement.

I agree with your general point about politicians being ignorant on the issues and how it's only as meaningful as the info they're briefed with. With Trump it is just way more apparent than anyone else, from a combo of lack of experience, lack of polish and frankly, lack of rhetorical capability relative to his peers. But how am I supposed to treat a game of telephone where the final message comes out jumbled and incoherent on top of being fact-checked as a lie of some kind? It's fair to question Trump's pipeline of info when we hear about millions of illegal votes and other bullshit all the time.

Oh please. The education system is a failure when it politicizes anything like that. We build walls all over the place for safety and security. Airports, stadiums, monuments, etc. have walls as part of their security, as do many homes, as does parts of the border.

The same people arguing against walls are the first people to build them for security around their homes and offices. It is lies.

I think it is fair to question his claim, but we do live in a nation with millions of illegals and those with an agenda to treat them just like citizens. When you see vote totals in California and some of their legislative efforts, I would also question who is voting.

You have a state in financial trouble, taxing the citizens to the breaking point and they are willing to give all those freebies to illegals? Something is fishy.

Cali's demographics and voting actually does add up to be honest. In this case, Trump was particularly unpopular in California so the difference was magnified. I know several Republicans who voted for Hillary in California, I doubt that was the case in many other states.

California has the worst run government in the country by far, that includes the losers in DC. But we'll continue to sustain anyway as we have for decades already. Without California, the U.S. would really be devastated, I'm not sure that point is discussed enough with all the vitriol people from the rest of the country have for this state.

Also, our culture's the best, weather is awesome, we have damn near anything for nature lovers, the best Mexican food...so suck it, rest of you. They take a looooot of our money, but hey, it's not like you're living in some bumfuck Midwest/Great Plains state while getting robbed.

So far the few worthwhile things to come from this administration have really been the work of Jeff Sessions. Finally an Attorney General who takes the job seriously and isn't just a puppet tool for the president. For the first time in years criminals don't feel safe and are looking over their shoulders. So what does dumb fuck Trump want to do but get rid of him. Get rid of Sessions for doing the right thing. Anyone with integrity would have recused himself. Trump is a joke and I personally can't wait till he's gone in 3 1/2 years.

I don't like Jeff Sessions but he has been railroaded for actually holding a moral high ground as AG, so fucked. The Trump administration is a joke.

Scaramucci just called Priebus a "Fucking paranoid schizophrenic" on record. Wow. Things are going smoothly though!
