Raiders! Playing solid football today. Very pleased. Keeping the pressure up and playing good defense, relative to the Raiders norm. Jacobs running strong too.

To think he could’ve been a MLB player instead. Crazy.
Although Kyler did a ton of the lifting on that play but it doesn’t hurt to have a DeAndre Hopkins at the other end either.

Saw the replay. That’s surely career ending for Joe Burrow there. His one buckled comp my eyelet in the wrong direction. Can’t be much not snapped to achieve that kind of angle. Sweet Moses.

Fair. They just showed the slow motion recap. Seems unnecessary to show that. Just gotta hope for surgery and good rehab.Jmac Attack wrote:I cant even talk about it.showa58taro wrote:Shit J-Mac. That sucks.

He is only 24. That is one thing on his side. Check this out, some good is coming from this and is showing the impact he has already had on his community. The Bengals fans, and including Steeler and other team fans are donating money to his charity to show their support. How fucking cool is that?showa58taro wrote:Fair. That is cool. He seems a nice guy! Hopefully as you say youth on his side, recovers ok for next year. Hate seeing injuries like it. Been a bad year for it.

It’s terrible how annoyed I am at seeing fans in the stadium.

Nearly thought about benching Watson. He’s been decent but not always great. But man am I glad I kept him and Fuller on for the day. Cracking game from them.

Re: NFL Discussion: 2020 Season
Every Broncos QB is out tomorrow due to high risk contact with a COVID positive player. The plan is to start a practice squad wide receiver at QB.
It’s an absolute joke that this game isn’t being re-scheduled or cancelled. Meanwhile the Broncos lost their bye week to accommodate the Patriots’ cases.

Not removing until John Elway is fired.

Re: NFL Discussion: 2020 Season
Was that what that notification was?! I saw a thing about Lock, Bortles and a third dude being out but didn’t clock that to be a QB. Man, why do they not rearrange that and do testing? They moved Ravens Steelers to Tuesday to try and get the teams more time. Having no QB seems harsh AF. Even if it is the Broncos, I feel bad that they aren’t being given a fair shot.

Re: NFL Discussion: 2020 Season
Feels like they want to make an example out of the Broncos. Thing is, I bet if the Broncos threatened a forfeit (no TV money), the league would bend. But of course a team would never do that because winning and glory and toughness and we’re fighters and blah blah. Feels wildly irresponsible to have this game played today.showa58taro wrote:Was that what that notification was?! Re: NFL Discussion: 2020 Season
I’m sure we won’t unless the defense scores TDs but it’s fascinating. Apparently the first game a non-QB has started at QB since 1965.
