Why you don't hear about Tim Tebow lately...

All sports. We don't even mind if its women's Curling or junior badminton. Although we won't have strong opinions on the latter.

My position is that Tim Tebow left college as one of the greatest ever. He was a first round pick. He was an extremely effective role player his first year. When he took over as starter of a 1-4 team, he led them to the playoffs and a playoff victory, that teams first in years.

From there, he never started another game, despite a slop-pile of other unproven and untested qbs failing everywhere in the league.

Those are the facts and that is my position. He is an NFL caliber qb. The debate about what his role should be or how far he could take a team are valid.

Also, are we sure Tebow didn't have a blood clot in his left arm?

Was Tebow a franchise QB, a low level starter, a high level backup or a low level backup? You know who a guy is by 200 attempts, so who was he?

Here's a fact: in four of Tebow's five last starts he was absolutely horrible, exposed as badly as a QB could be.

The one successful game in that stretch was against coverages average joe college QBs could have shredded. Fraud.

Bills: 13/29, 185 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs, 1 fumble lost
Chiefs: 6/22, 60 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, 1 fumble lost
Patriots: 9/26, 136 yards, 0 TD, 1 fumble lost

Tebow's last three starts facing defensive schemes and coverages NFL quarterbacks actually see consistently. The offense produced 27 points total in those three weeks. This stretch of horrific play is why he lost his job. Not anything else. Stop crying and move on.

God-like. You think the 3:16 connection in the Steelers game was just a coincidence?!

That game was a modern day miracle. I think the big guy upstairs was in Dick LeBeau's head. God will give you one of those in your life. The well was dry after that, so we had to switch course to Peyton and his five-head.

What would you say if you evaluated Peyton Mannings worst games?

I am pretty sure he lost his job because they signed an all time great, the previously mentioned Manning. If that doesn't happen, Tebow is starting the following season.

See, now you get it! At least we are talking about to what extent he belongs instead of acting like he cannot play. I have said numerous times I think Tebow is an ideal backup in a lot of circumstances.

Tebow has limitations but he also has extraordinary strengths. When viewed through s lens looking for a certain type of qb, I get that he does not fit. That does not mean there is no place.

It is like comparing powerlifters to ballerinas. They excel in their setting.

What did I get? He can't play. I'm asking how you view him. I don't even view him on an NFL spectrum. CFL yes.

What are the extraordinary strengths? Keep in mind as a short yardage runner at QB, his efficiency is below average.

Also, it's kind of interesting the way you present "objectivity" here. "Extraordinary strengths" vs. "limitations". Not calling them weaknesses and no superlatives. To get the point across you should have put "limitations" in the smallest possible font.

I would say that Peyton Manning could throw a football, while Tim Tebow could not throw a football so it is different. If you want to find a horrible 4- game stretch from Peyton's career, go for it!

Nope. Elway wanted to move on immediately. He knew the score, he saw his team win games and excite the fanbase and still recognized what a fluke Tebow was.

Mike McCoy became a head coach solely because he was able to make Tebow not look completely horrible in a 1950s offense. You are lying to yourself to think that shit was sustainable. Tebow's career was over in December 2011, he just didn't know it yet. The entire league knew though.

Title says it all. Tebow greets autistic fan, hits three-run homer.

Tebow struggled in single-A initially, then started annihilating every pitcher and was moved to double-A. Now he's doing the same thing. Struggled initially, picked it up quickly and is a monster at the plate. He will get a major league call-up by 2019.

He has been doing well! I follow him through the minor league sites.
