Re: Valentine's Day
My state tax form got rejected and had to resubmit. Seems like someone wasn't updated on Turbo Tax's end about dependents? The form looks correct to me now, so it better work this time. This was an awful tax year for me thanks to the unemployment.

I am okay with that one (don't think I've seen) but no way can I sit through that Tammy T-rex movie a second time.

Congrats on reaching the Grandpa stage of life.
Do you know what you want the little one to call you as she gets older?

Thanks, guys! I'm torn on that one. I'd love to be plain old grandpa, but my step-grandson calls me Papa Joe, which always gets me right in the feels.
Re: Valentine's Day
Papa Joe has a good ring to it.
My husband called his grandpa Pips.
I called mine Papaw.
It's a very personal thing and whatever feels right is what you should go with, but to be honest, most kids come up with their own way of addressing you.
My mom wanted to be called Granny but my nieces had a hard time saying Granny so it became Nana pretty quick and she's grown to love it even though she hated it at first.
If your step-grandson is around a lot, she will most likely pick up on what he calls you and will use the same term because it's familiar. (This is how my uncle became Bobo instead of Larry and how my parents became Nana and Papaw to pretty much every kid in the family born after me. And I mean the whole family so they are actually their great and great-great nieces and nephews, same reason they call my Aunt Angie but I'm really their cousin. My family is weird.)
