The new(ish) LOTR 4k
The new picture is pretty stunning, and the color grading is SO much better than the blu rays.

Re: What are you watching?
Just watched a zombie tiger eat a dude's face off. Was beautiful.

The chopper pilot could be the worst actor I've ever seenTiggnutz wrote:Army of the Dead

She was digitally inserted into the movie to replace an actor accused of sexually assaulting minors. WTF!Tiggnutz wrote:The chopper pilot could be the worst actor I've ever seenTiggnutz wrote:Army of the Dead

I was entertained from start to finish. Army of the Dead gets a very solid grade of "B"

Welcome to the new normal. They'll be doing that with any movie. John Wayne getting replaced by a tranny should be fun.Tiggnutz wrote:She was digitally inserted into the movie to replace an actor accused of sexually assaulting minors. Re: What are you watching?
I was thinking a B as well, but I thought the Chopper pilot was a great scene stealer. I couldn't tell she was digitally inserted, but when I read about it, I was like "makes sense, just like Kevin Spacey in All The Money In The World, fix it before it's released".
I liked Army of the Dead, but I expected better of some of the dodgier CGI (like the alpha zombie movement early on, looked REALLY bad) but damn that zombie tiger looked cool. Seemed a little longer than it should've been, and not long like Justice League was long, that was an epic story with lots of moving parts. This isn't.
Loving Batista as an actor, he hasn't let me down once and he seems to get better with each outting.

Re: What are you watching?
Feeling like putting up some Stephen King stuff, so I put on the TV miniseries of It on HBO Max ... and I'm surprised at seeing the wide screen view. I'm so used to the full screen on my dvd and when it was on tv. They did a good clean up job on it too.

What the fuck is with this viva Las Vegas intro for AotD? Oy that was overly long and annoying.
