Liberal society is a great big circle jerk.
- elect stupid liberal to lead
- enact stupid liberal policies
- exploit the desires of liberal constituents
Wash, rinse, repeat.
Blame others for an individual's failings, as for more bullshit programs, then blame the programs. Ask for more money, change the programs. Continue to blame others for the individual's failings.

This place is subsidized by the government. One of their main functions is training people to cook who need a second chance. Both of us were told in meetings with directors there that the students were not really motivated and there was no one they would really stand behind.
So...is this the right kind of teacher? Or are they simply being honest about the students?
could be a bit of both? also, not every student, assuming they want to learn, will take to one type of teacher. you have to different processes. if some students aren't taking to one approach, let another type of teacher give it a go?
I was told they do not want to learn. They are there so benefits continue or as part of probation.
Also. Fuck that noise with blaming the teacher. Put on some big boy pants and listen. It is a second chance, not a ballerina school.
some won't want to learn, when it's mandated. some won't take to the approach. but we can lump them all together for the sake of footopia.
so what do you do with the ones who don't want to learn? do you allow them to keep getting benefits, regardless? how do you feel it should be handled?
don't dodge my question?
Fuck em. They face the consequences if their actions. End the benefits and/or their probation. Why waste tax money of workers on those not trying?

First and foremost the breakdown of the the African American family is the main problem too many children born into broken homes with no parental structure or guidance. Than factor in that liberal bullshit makes talking about that an act of racism. It's a complete breakdown of everything and those kids don't even have a chance.

so is it the individual's failing, or the liberal policies?

Both. When individuals start accepting the idea that society owes them something, you start to have problems.

As long as it is not criminal. If it is criminal, back to the clink. Eventually people will learn.

You can't live in fear that if you do not pay for people, they will start looting.

was this breakdown of families caused by the families themselves?
at least you're acknowledging that some pretty large part of it is because of the system, beyond the individual(s).

do you want the clink to just be like an internment camp of sorts for criminals (as i can't think of another example to fit), or do you want any focus on rehabilitation / re-integration at all?

Black families were broken by liberal government. They were consistently incentivized to have children out of wedlock. Consistently told society will raise the kids.
"It takes a village."

I want it to be prison. forced rehabilitation is a waste of time and money.
You know why Alcoholics Anpnymous had such low success rates? Because most of the people who join are forced to. Imagine a gymnastics school where people go because they are forced. Now imagine one that only allows people in who show desire and dedication to the sport. Which will yield better outcomes?

Btw, I am fine with folks offering re-integration services to prisoners. The prisoners or their families can pay for it if they desire, and they can hold those classes in the prison.
If they pay, the outcomes will be better.

Getting more money per kid in government assistance is a problem. Culturally being an absent father is accepted and not frowned upon anymore is a problem. Having politicians constantly making excuses for bad behavior is a problem. These are all problems that every race deals with but in black urban areas it is extreme.

Republicans throw you in jail, Democrats keep you dependent. Wonderful trade-off.

If you are a black democrat, it is career suicide to suggest personal responsibility is a problem among black inner city culture. More programs and more handouts are the way to political power.

I'm glad you like in a society where the goal is to throw as many people in jail as possible. I find it an embarrassment to the world.

The goal is zero crime and no one in prison.
