Re: College Football
Like most of the country, I figured UCLA was done and went to bed. Bloody hell.

Haha....that's my line! But, yeah, I agree. Kind of lame.Jason wrote:Ok. I get it now. But it's weird. Just say Bitchigan, or something.Jmac Attack wrote:It's a Central Ohio thang. Even the local news won't say that word during football season. Most people use the abbreviated TTUN (That team up north) when discussing that team that shall not be mentioned. It's been Alabama, Clemson, Alabama, Clemson. They've played in the playoffs four years in a row.Jason wrote:Who won the last two? Weren't they both Clemson Championship wins?Headhunter wrote:They've split 4 games.Jason wrote:Clemson owns Alabama.
1 & 2 mean nothing at this stage anyway. They basically function as 1 and 1a. They're the two best teams in college football but Clemson had slightly more pieces to replace. Got a long way to go to seriously compare the two though.

I like that NC went for it there. Shame it didn't go their way.

After 130 points last week, UCLA vs. Arizona has produced a 7-3 score in just over 25 minutes of action.

Clemson looking like past defending champs, struggling to beat mediocre teams. It will catch up with them.Monster wrote:I like that NC went for it there. Shame it didn't go their way.
Bama is just better this year anyway. Their 4th best WR had 274 yards and 5 TDs today.

5? Holy shit. And I thought Lamb's 3 TD game was impressive.Headhunter wrote:Clemson looking like past defending champs, struggling to beat mediocre teams. It will catch up with them.Monster wrote:I like that NC went for it there. Shame it didn't go their way.

Lol, Chip gives no fucks. Has gone for it twice on 4th down on UCLA’s side of the field. If we lose, we lose. Who cares? Love it.

I think Oklahoma spent the last week thinking about next week. They look pretty bad.

Two straight turnovers in the red zone. Good grief.

Re: College Football
Defense is much improved, Murray and Gallimore will be players at the next level, but I can’t see Oklahoma competing with the best SEC teams, Clemson or Ohio State with the offensive line playing the way it has. Losing four starters up front is tough.

Re: College Football
LSU's quarterback Joe Burrow has had an almost flawless season. I think he'll be a quick riser come draft season. Not tall enough for Elway at 6'4" but some other team could make a great pick there.

Looks like PETA is going after the Sooner Schooner after the little accident today in which no one, horse nor human, was injured. Crazy fuckers.

Re: College Football
Alabama (barring serious Tua injury) and Ohio State continue to look like the two best teams, with LSU pretty close behind. Oklahoma and Clemson have the other clear paths to the playoffs.
My top 15:
1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. LSU
4. Clemson
5. Oklahoma
6. Penn State
7. Georgia
8. Florida
9. Auburn
10. Notre Dame
11. Oregon
12. Utah
13. Baylor
14. Minnesota

Re: College Football
Nah, they still have one of the clearest paths to the playoffs. If they win out, they're definitely in.
If they lose again, they're done of course. But they did the same thing last year. Lose at midseason, win out until running into a better team. Same thing this year, they'll be better than every team they play the rest of the way. Until it's Alabama/LSU, Clemson or Ohio State.
