Man, nearly wrote that he took being knocked out of third badly thinking you were joking. But it’s on the news and everything. Five dead, none of his kids or wife. What a tragedy. An absolute tragedy.

I found out when it was just rumors. I'm eating at a little Mexican restaurant and when the news started to break, I could hear everyone in the restaurant finding out about it, one group at a time.

Looking like his kids were on board the helicopter, too. A massive celebrity tragedy. This is absolutely terrible.

NBA canceling games

I don't think it can be overstated how loved Kobe is by this generation of NBA players. He is their Jordan. They never took to LeBron the way they took to Kobe. I'm glad the NBA cancelled games because all of those guys have to be hurting badly.

And his foot is still so close to the game, it's also losing one of their own.
