if you can enjoy movies that don't necessarily line up with your politics, and don't grit your teeth at the words "happy holidays", then you are not a conservative snowflake, i'd say.

I said nothing about you. I said I am pretty basic and have fairly typical conservative viewpoints that make me in no way special.

Conservatives tend to be more tolerant than liberals of different ideas. Plus we are too busy to be holding signs in front of buildings all day.

snowflake is what's always thrown around to jab at liberals. i misunderstood.

so, if you're pretty typical conservative. what makes that more valid than being typical liberal? it's a little bit weird to me.

Tolerant of different ideas? It strikes me as a flawed argument if you are equating conservatives with its philosophical roots here. Although maybe you just mean you and less activist conservatives tend to be less vocal generally because you’re ok with the status quo?
