I realize you may have to give up more, maybe another 1st. It's an exploratory offer.

Yes, a legitimate All-Star. The only guy going back in that deal who has any value on an NBA court right now is Harris and he's not even close to Beal.
If you think Jokic, inconsistent Murray and a bunch of role players is championship quality, you're delusional. You need game changing talent and Beal is the best you can realistically do.

Denver and Portland are the two teams in the West that need to push their chips in to get a third elite scorer. I bet Portland can get somewhat of a lowball deal done for Kevin Love, his stock has never been lower after an injury and four years shooting in the corner for LeBron. Love's overall offensive game is still a nightmare for most bigs to deal with and putting him with those two guards will be impossible to keep pace with for most teams.

Maybe, I just am not willing to give up that much depth and potential for one guy.

You're not actually losing any depth, just replacing Harris and giving up a few lottery tickets who haven't played.

The sky is the limit for Porter/Bol. If they both emerge as all-stars, that will sting. Donovan Mitchell still hurts.

They're lottery tickets with a very high probability of doing nothing, never mind either ever being an All Star. Over-valuing unproven assets kills teams' windows. Ask Danny Ainge.

Good god. Kills potential Lakers dynasty and beheads OKC. Kawhi is the NBA's biggest assassin.
Too bad but hopefully the Lakers can fill out the roster with some solid role players. Danny Green is a good signing. No guarantees now, the league is wide open next year and the Lakers will just be another team in a stacked West.

There are like 8 teams who can make a run at a title this year. Never seen anything like it.

Kiwi brought a title to a third world country, now he's trying to bring a title to a third world city.
