I admired Danielle Harris in that interview. She actually showed how much she cared about her character and the Halloween franchise, unlike Jamie Lee Curtis, who starred in the original masterpiece, the great sequel and H20 where the franchise should've ended. But then she agrees to appear in Resurrection, the film that completely took a dump on the entire franchise? How was she not cringing inside when she kissed Mikey on the lips and uttered that god awful one-liner before falling to her death?

Resurrection made me go sour on JLC. She clearly doesn't give a fuck and just did it for the paycheck. I'd go so far as to say she doesn't deserve to appear in this next one.

If I remember correctly, she only agreed to do it if they killed her off. But I agree, she should have ended it with H20.

Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri

Can't seem to find a movie nowadays without a glaring, leftist, political agenda. Bummer.

You people see glaring, leftist, political agendas in your onion soups, so it's somewhat hard to take it seriously.
For my thoughts on the horror films I've seen, please look here: https://jigsawshorrorcorner.wordpress.com/

The onion soup is a much better entree than the soy smoothie, take that as you will.

In the span of 15 minutes, there is an antagonist cop (which is fine), who is introduced to the audience by calling a mexican dude a beaner, then immediately threatens a black guy, and in the next scene calls a gay dude a faggot and claims Cuba murders gays every day.

Members of murderous gangs are then compared to religious priests. "If a priest has sex with a boy, all priests are guilty by association just like if the crip murdered the blood", is the message that was just spewed in the most recent scene.

I'm not even 20 minutes into the movie. Lol.

Potential spoilers for the Three Billboards movie...

If the racist, white, antagonist cop (Dixon) isn't the rapist in a stunning plot twist, I would be very surprised. Although, the film alluded to a fat white dentist complaining about the billboards that were put up. Can't wait for the "Dun dun DUNNNN" moment.

"My momma don't know nuthin bout the nigger torturin' cause she's against that stuff. And you can't say"nigger torturin'" no more you gots to say "persons-of-color-torturin'".

This movie doesn't have an agenda at all! Lol.

Even without the agenda the movies tend to blow ass, anyway.

More and more reasons to go back and watch all the good shit, pre-modern era.

It is unfortunate that a movie's politics can bother you so much. That kind of thinking is toxic dude

Unwise to insult half your audience. That same approach played a part in the most recent presidential election, as we all well know.

But yeah, I'd prefer to look past the agenda and enjoy the movie.

"If you got rid of every cop with racist leanings you'd have about three cops left, and all of them are gonna hate the fags".

Holy guacamole. Lol.

i've found plenty of good to great movies in the last few years. if you don't like them, then don't watch them? if they "tend to blow ass anyway" then why waste your time? you have some kind of hang up or bias going on. so just avoid the newer stuff?

First time I've seen this movie called leftist propaganda. It's actually been criticized as being racist and homophobic by the left (though they're pretty clueless on the point of the movie too).

And they sound like the poor Democrats around here. I hear people around here talk like that all the time. Seemed to me that the movie was just being real and honest. *Shrugs*

It pretty much is being real and honest, lol. Also showing that in rural areas, they acknowledge it's not right to use certain slurs, but old habits die hard.

I didn't know Jennifer Jason Leigh was in this. Might have seen it in the theater if I had.
