It would take a haul of draft picks packaged with him for me to consider taking him. And that's the cost of not knowing what to do with 170 dollars left to pay.

Russ isn't capable of changing, but if he wanted to he could be a totally different player and have value to a contender even while being a bad shooter. He's capable of being a great defender but doesn't try.
