It’s pretty horrible luck. There were five people in the cart (probably a four seater) so it’s not gonna move very fast. No crash was going to kill anyone. Only falling off and hitting your head on a hard surface would.

Not to mention hitting your head in your mid-60s in general is already a potentially tragic scenario. Throw in the likelihood that alcohol was involved and it was a moving golf cart is just not good.
