2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
i always forget that censor is a 2020s flick. never remember to count it that way when looking back on the half decade.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
the movie mentions deranged from 1974. i used to have a copy of that. i think it was a double feature with another movie, but between florida and colorado i lost it somewhere. and i don't think i've actually ever seen it. good or no?

Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
Only seen Deranged once, and honestly, I remember only a small portion of it. I rated it a 6/10 on IMDb, but that's my go-to rating when I know I've seen a movie but don't remember it well enough to rate, so I long story short, I don't remember enough on Deranged to properly comment fam.

i haven't decided if i wanna do one cut of the dead or berberian sound stuido, next. listen to a little wetleg while i decide.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
It's basically a loose version of the Ed Gein story without saying it. It was pretty morbid, kinda slow, but not bad. It's a double feature DVD with Motel Hell is what you're thinking of.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
well, i definitely remember watching motel hell at least. that's a good one. i may have to dig up deranged somewhere online.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
As far as I know regarding physical, it only got released in a double feature with Motel Hell. So yeah, you'll either have to dig around storage and hope you still have it or find it on the internet somewheres.zombie wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 12:14 pmwell, i definitely remember watching motel hell at least. that's a good one. i may have to dig up deranged somewhere online.

*blows whistle* That's a delay of game violation. You had 30 minutes left, wow that's a bad one. 7 hour and 30 minute penalty, move the chains back, replay movie. *blows whistle*
Next time, try watching
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
Because not only are you relying on the internet, you're relying on the database that is storing the movie you bought to not just up and disappear into thin air.

I see a Bad Moon (1996) rising!
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
Ok. So for those who have seen Bad Moon did you ever have the option to watch the director's cut? This is my first time watching it on bluray and I always watched the DVD which is the theatrical version. Apparently the main/only difference is the removal of a 25-second transformation scene with horrific CGI. Everyone says the director's cut is the way to go.
