i don't think austin powers would get knocked for that, if only, because it was a comedic jab at bond's womanizing. but i can concede that it could possibly fall into "not be made today" territory.

Tropic Thunder couldn't be made today and that was only 10 years ago.

I do think it's weird to pursue women after they turn you down. Even if they change their mind, it ain't the same and their natural inclination was that they weren't into you. Keep it moving, fellas.

How is it okay for you to keep pestering a woman for a date after she told you 'no'? Have some respect for the decision and leave the woman alone.

I don't see how increasing the respect we have for the opposite gender is anything to be ashamed of, but then again, I am a proud feminist, so maybe I'll just never understand this "man's man/alpha male" bullshit.
