Re: What are you watching?
I thought I would like Shape of Water better the second time I watched it but it's just a good movie not a great movie. I would give it a "B" grade I can't go higher because the plot is just too absurd.

Same. Not a movie I'll be in any rush to see a second time.Tiggnutz wrote:I thought I would like Shape of Water better the second time I watched it but it's just a good movie not a great movie. I would give it a "B" grade I can't go higher because the plot is just too absurd.

I really appreciate the way it's filmed visually it's magnificent but the story is kinda dumb imoMonster wrote:Same. Re: What are you watching?
I didn't care for the way Michael Shannon's character was portrayed. They beat us over the head with how awful he is, making sure to hit on every type of bigotry and cruelty. Just a bit over the top.

Re: What are you watching?
You find perhaps the greatest discovery in history and try to keep it completely secret from other countries who will want it. You keep it in a top secret government facility but you allow cleaning ladies full access to it with out any cameras on it like it's a turtle at a petting zoo.
Re: What are you watching?
lol now that you mention it, that was pretty silly. Hadn't thought about it.

Too many movies nobody will remember in 10 years winning Best Picture.

Three Billboards was so much betterHeadhunter wrote:Too many movies nobody will remember in 10 years winning Best Picture.

No cameras or guards? Not even behind a barrier. Petsmart has better security for goldfish lolMonster wrote:lol now that you mention it, that was pretty silly. Hadn't thought about it.

Re: What are you watching?
i personally prefer shape of water to three billboards. granted, haven't seen either more than once, so maybe that will change later.

Re: What are you watching?
I just thought these maids go through security in the first place, and signed forms that they'd say nothing of what they've seen, and they're aware of the dank shit that goes on.

And you still don't camera or guard any of that with an invaluable resource... Hey, I found Jose and Pedro at Home Depot and they say their good and signed the forms, just leave em be for hours on end, damnit, no worries!DancesWithWerewolves wrote:I just thought these maids go through security in the first place, and signed forms that they'd say nothing of what they've seen, and they're aware of the dank shit that goes on.
