watching the House on Haunted Hill remake.

It really does seem like Georffrey Rush was the only person that can vaguely come close to Price's style, so that was good casting on their part.

The First Omen is actually pulling off some good bits here. I wasn't expecting that at all. I expected to be bored as fuck if anything, and though the first act is kind of sluggish (especially with noticing how similar it is to Immaculate), ever since the mid-point I've been pretty engaged. Great burn FX on that nun corpse too, btw. Damn.

i didn't like alice sweet alice the first couple of times i watched, but i've come around since then. i think it's becoming a favorite. still think it should have kept the original title of communion. it's a better fit in my opinion and more in line with the slashers and proto-slashers.

also immaculate can't hold a candle to the first omen.
