Re: What are you watching?
Sunday nights on AMC.
Re: What are you watching?
Good show for the most part, but I'm not sure The Shape of Water qualifies as horror.

It's a stretch. Monster Movie/Creature feature definitely, but not feeling the horror just because of that.Monster wrote:Good show for the most part, but I'm not sure The Shape of Water qualifies as horror.

I only watched the monster one this past sunday. I know I have the slasher ones recorded, but I don't know if there were others before that.zombie wrote:where are you guys watching the history of horror stuff?

Re: What are you watching?
So far Netflix's Haunting of Hill House is plodding way too much with the childhood trauma in the house (it's rewritten the story, so don't bother comparing), and then dealing with the trauma as adults, than actually the haunted fucking house.
It's like Netflix forgot to put filler in Daredevil's Season 3 like they were criticized for putting it in their other Marvel seasons, and are trying to make up for it here.

AMC On Demand has all of the ones that have aired so far too. Way I've been catching them. I keep forgetting when they are on. :oops:Monster wrote:Sunday nights on AMC.

Re: What are you watching?
Dramatically, Haunting of Hill House has picked up. Episodes 3 and 4 WAY better than 1 and 2.
Re: What are you watching?
I watched episodes 2-4 on demand. For some reason, the first episode isn't available here.Ava wrote:AMC On Demand has all of the ones that have aired so far too. Way I've been catching them. I keep forgetting when they are on. :oops:Monster wrote:Sunday nights on AMC.

Watching Eli Roth History of Horror episode 5 Killer Creatures and it occurred to me that Rob Zombie adds nothing to the roundtable he's sitting at. Being Rob Zombie and present seems to be sufficient no need for input.

Yeah, I know you be hatin' not participatin', but I too have wondered why he is pretty much non-existent for this. Hate his movies all you want, but he seems like a cool dude, definitely knows his shit, and is articulate in plenty of shit I've seen, p sure he's talking, they just ain't using the footage for whatever reason.Tiggnutz wrote:Watching Eli Roth History of Horror episode 5 Killer Creatures and it occurred to me that Rob Zombie adds nothing to the roundtable he's sitting at. I think his obvious love of horror would make his input valuable but he barely speaks. I have no problem with Rob Zombie I just hate his movies. I bet he's cool as hell.Reign in Blood wrote:Yeah, I know you be hatin' not participatin', but I too have wondered why he is pretty much non-existent for this. That's my point, I bet he is speaking, it's just making the editing room floor. You can't tell me there was no discussion in the Zombie episode on why he named the band White Zombie after the movie and all that shiz.Tiggnutz wrote:I think his obvious love of horror would make his input valuable but he barely speaks. And so many soundbites from other horror movies in the White Zombie/Rob Zombie music catalog.Reign in Blood wrote:That's my point, I bet he is speaking, it's just making the editing room floor.
