Immaculate's act 1 is better, but I definitely think First Omen's following two acts overcame it. Weird how they came out like two weeks apart from each other, though I know Immaculate's script was circling around for many years, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a little peaking-at-others-homework when it came to First Omen.

That's among my biggest gripes of modern movies. Adds to the already cartoony feel of modern flicks.
