Immaculate's act 1 is better, but I definitely think First Omen's following two acts overcame it. i've heard that immaculate was originally about high school girls not nuns but was changed along the way to better suit sydney sweeney. maybe true, maybe not.

I actually checked to see if it was the same Cinematographer for The Eternals. It's not, but that's the similar dark photography vibe I'm getting.

Got super into the first two Wishmaster movies in the early-mid 2000s. Been 10 years or more since I last watched. Used to prefer part 2 a little.

I went in completely blind when it hit theaters a few months ago, had no idea who he was in the movie until a scene kinda late and I was like "Is that who Nicolas Cage is playing?"
Lol. I was expecting to see him pop up as a regular dude at some point in the movie.

8.2 on Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies. Still prefer it over the original after all these years, but not by a hell of a lot.

i feel like it has to be more than jump scares because it's done that way in most movies and tv shows. not just with horror. i think the biggest gripe about it has been with christopher nolan and he hasn't done a horror yet. but he should.
