This would be acceptable for certain drugs but it's playing stupid to think it's the same for all drugs heroin,coke and others I'm sure you could name destroy masses and not by regulaton but by their nature

I feel like cities should be safe places to raise a family in. Parts of chicago, baltimore, and detroit resemble RoboCop more than I am comfortable with. The ever relaxing attitudes about drugs have done them no favors.

I have tried to open the wrong vehicle and the wrong hotel room door before, so I think it is possible, but there also could be more to it. Obviously a big difference in an accident and an execution and you have to prosecute correctly.

The "war on drugs" has made it exponentially worse.

Since you're going with the idealist route, how do you plan on eliminating drugs from human existence? Is it an attainable goal?

she's a cop, even if off duty. if she was going to be dishonest, why try for manslaughter or something similar, rather than getting off with no jail time for being a cop who fired at a suspected drug user or something?
