Kershaw blew it like he always does. He deserves to have it all put on him.
It's true for the most part. The Rendon homer was a great pitch location, he just belted it. Sometimes there just isn't shit you can do. Also, I will defend Kershaw when Torre left him in in the 7th inning against the Cards a few years back. They were up four runs, Kershaw's arm delivered the whole game but he clearly ran his course at that point. Should've pulled him after the second baserunner reached, but he waited until they tied or took the lead to pull him. Bad move.Headhunter wrote:Kershaw blew it like he always does. There isn't shit you can do sometimes, but you'll be judged on the result anyway. That's how it goes.Jason wrote:It's true for the most part. Other than that, Kershaw stinks in the playoffs for sure. And I feel bad. He's a cool dude from everything I've seen.
Yeah. And I think that's crap. Throw a hanging curve ball, you deserve the shit. He threw a sinker down and in at a good location and Rendon hammered it. It's unfortunate.Headhunter wrote:There isn't shit you can do sometimes, but you'll be judged on the result anyway. That's how it goes.Jason wrote:It's true for the most part. When he got his out, he should have been taken out of the game, but Dave Roberts wanted to force a "moment" and give Kershaw some redemption and the Nats threw it back in their face.
