About to start up The Ghost Cat and the Mysterious Shamisen, or Kaibyô nazo no shamisen, from 1938.
There weren't many horror movies from 1938 - I personally count The Terror, but some don't - so seeing one from the year, and delightfully subtitled on YouTube, should be fun.
Pretty tense finale. Print was a bit rough at times, but it wasn't a bad watch.

There's a horror anthology story about a bunch of kids who get burned alive accidentally by another group of kids on Halloween night and every year the kids come back and go trick or treating. Anyone remember which one that is?

Tales of Halloween? I know I've seen it, but anthologies all kinda mix together for me.

Don't believe I've ever seen the (2000) The Convent. I should remember Adrienne Barbeau if I had seen it.

I saw that pop up while searching around and couldn't recall if I've seen it either. The title is familiar, but none of the graphics or summary were (let alone the year of release).
