does that mean that you look down on others for still watching and enjoying it? does that mean you look down on those who make that porn?
It means I recognize my past behavior was harmful and have changed it accordingly
fair enough that you feel that way. it's admirable to change your behavior, if you think you're doing something wrong or harmful.
I have viewed photos that were not intended for me and were put online against the persons wishes. I am no better than the person who stole them.
Foo. FOO! YOU THERE BUDDY?! I CAN'T SEE YOU WITH YOU SO HIGH UP ON THAT HIGH-HORSE!

Let's look at the reality here:
Cute young girl is kicked out of her house. She was abused throughout her childhood and was acting out. No skills and no education, she reaches out to the sex industry.
She is provided with a driver, drugs and alcohol. She is promised a lot of money down the line because she will be a star, but she has to earn it first. She is doped up, beaten, and fucked to the point where her privates are torn and her insides bleed. She is forced to have sex with people off camera as well as on camera. She never sees the fame and money she was promised, but she gets enough money to keep going. She also gets herpes and likely other STDs.
This continues as she makes a couple hundred bucks a day to be abused on camera. After a couple years, she is playing a MILF, still drugged and abused. One day she kills herself when she realizes the people abusing her is all she has.
Dramatic? Maybe, but women who enter that industry were overwhelmingly abused. The overwhelmingly end up with and STD, depression, and commit suicide at high rates.

I am admitting a failing. I regret my actions. I am not saying porn should be banned, but I am saying a feminsist cannot endorse the industry.

that could be true, and certainly is in some cases. if you want to choose to not watch at all because there is abuse and manipulation on some level, more power to you.

And yet, that doesn't make 100% of porn, or porn producers, bad.
Picture this:
A young woman is sexually active and likes to experience new sexual acts, and gets turned on by knowing that people are watching her.
She gets with people, consensually has sex, and puts it online.
Eventually, she gets enough exposure that bigger companies reach out to her - she says no, and sticks with her friends, posting videos of her getting her brains fucked out. She's having fun.
One day, she decides she's done, and leaves the business. She leaves. She is happy.
I understand that this is a minority situation, but please stop pretending every single person in porn is being abused. I agree, some are, and we need to find a way to give women more control of the porn industry. Which IS WHAT SOME FEMINISTS ARE DOING.
So you're wrong.
Next?

I don't endorse the porn industry. I endorse porn. If that's the failing of understanding here, then let me be clear: I support porn and prostitution as a valid option for a man or woman to engage in if they so wish.
I do not endorse any company who makes porn by manipulating, lying, abusing, or hurting women or men.
Pro-women porn is out there, and to say otherwise shows your ignorance, which doesn't really need to be further shown, but why not?

Yeah, and I agree with the last sentence, but you're also saying the thousands of us who looked at the Fappening pics are the same as the fuckers who hacked the shit, invaded their privacy, then decided to spread it. Nuh-uh! And you're absolutely right that the porn industry is exploitative of women, and more often then not, a fucked up degrading cesspool. But guess what? So is Hollywood, Modeling etc. Zero in on the feminism all you want, but don't be blanket guilt tripping that shit.

First, let me make it clear that I am guilty. I am in no way innocent.
Now, consider this:
I steal Jiggy's gold. I return home and despite knowing I stole Jiggy's gold, you and zombie gladly take a share. The guilt is not that different.
Let me give another example:
Kiddie Porn. It is illegal to film because of lack of consent. It is also illegal to possess for the same reason. We do not draw such a great distinction.

Do I have gold because I'm a leprechaun?

if we take some of the gold, knowing it was jiggy's, that's wrong. if you offer gold, and we just assume that it could be stolen from jiggy, that's okay, but it could also just be a gift with no victim along the way.
and yes, you are a leprechaun.

Women exploit women by using "pro-women" all the time. There are jewish Nazis, black KKK members, and phony feminists all looking to exploit for personal gain.
Beware any business who promotes as such. Porn or otherwise. "Women owned", "Veteran Owned", "For Us, By Us", etc. All scams.

Still support porn, and still a feminist. Amazing how so much has been said, and yet nothing at all has been changed.

If I ever had, it was unconsciously. I do not recall ever calling myself a feminist in order to either hook up with or seduce women or men.

Neither of those things are exploitative.

Interesting. I am a closet feminist, but I think I would use it for pussy if given the chance.
