I remember liking this one, and perplexed at the sudden hate when it won Best PIcture. Sure, wasn't my favorite that year either, but in 2005, A History Of Violence, Batman Begins and King Kong were not nominated

I googled The Mule right when it came out and saw it in the mid 8-range on IMDB, high praise all over. A week later the ratings plummeted and google's algorithms only had links to articles bitching about racism and shit. Lol.
