Well fuck that.Jigsaw wrote:There was some nudity, and quite often, the two main girls were in their bras and panties, but honestly, it felt extraordinarily tame for an early 70's French film. Case in point: Despite what I was thinking from the beginning, there was literally zero physical lesbianism in the film. Truth be told, sort of blew my mind.Reign in Blood wrote:How was that? Looks like it could be de-lish smut.Jigsaw wrote:Next up, the 1971 French film Mais ne nous délivrez pas du mal, or Don't Deliver Us from Evil.
Don't really know what to expect from this one. Should be interesting.
Smut was obviously not what they were going for when they made this. Much more a dark coming-of-age story with a moderately shocking ending.
I really liked the first one, and I meant to fit the second one in before October, but I wasn't able to. I'll probably re-watch the first one and then watch the second in the first week of November.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Well that chainsaw sound effect was a waste...
Next Found Footage flick: Hell House LLC 2
I kinda remember the first, but don't feel like squeezing it in.
Well, 2 shows some footage from the first, a loose recap, so I'm good not revisiting it, lol.Jigsaw wrote:I really liked the first one, and I meant to fit the second one in before October, but I wasn't able to. The story isnt all that great but i'm a sucker for that gothic era/ victorian era thing Hammer does so well. B-Tiggnutz wrote:Never seen thisTiggnutz wrote:First time viewing (I Think) The Evil of Frankenstein. A new Hammer film for me.

Part 2 is better.Jigsaw wrote:Started Argentina gore film Plaga zombie (1997). Hopefully it works out to my liking.
Yeah, if you liked the first one, you won't like this one that much.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Well that chainsaw sound effect was a waste...

So far, simply because of this douchebag character Brock Davies, I think I'm liking this more. Reminds me of my favorite Tales From The Crypt episode (though no where as good, but reminding me of it's still a good thing).Havok wrote:Yeah, if you liked the first one, you won't like this one that much.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Well that chainsaw sound effect was a waste...

I can see the similarities, particularly with the characters we're stuck with, but still better than GE2.Havok wrote:It just reminded me of Grave Encounters 2. Just the exact same thing, with a different ending.
Does it have any more of a plot than this one did? Because while I appreciate the hard work that they put into the gore, an hour of fighting zombies constantly doesn't do it for me.Havok wrote:Part 2 is better.Jigsaw wrote:Started Argentina gore film Plaga zombie (1997).
