I'm really trying here...once Act 2 or so started, it's been a fucking drag. Kristen Scott Thomas is not sexy dammit. Stop showing her mosquito bites.

For some reason I thought this movie came out in 1940 or 1941. So when they prefaced the plot with 1946, I thought maybe it was taking place in the future, so I searched the year it came out to be sure and it was 1946. What a dumbdumb.

Fiennes is doing an excellent job acting against a mop...er...Kristen Scott Thomas.

You guys need to do yourselves a favor and watch Jeremiah Johnson. I don't want to hype it up too much and turn anybody off to it. It's a lot like the Revenant in ways, but much less of a dramatic epic and more like a raw storytelling. Maybe it's just one of those "for me" movies, but it is easily one of my favorite movies ever made.

I'm about to watch it again. This will be the first time since I was a child that I watch the same movie on the same day twice.
