And if you really want to advance any cause, don't use an annoying voice as fuck chick. Just food for thought.
What if it was a bunch of gangbangers getting busted after robbing an old grandma's house and beating her with a chain to death? Not gonna feel good, but I'd be perfectly fine with it.Headhunter wrote:Didn't watch the video, not going to. The difference between "They deserved it" and "I enjoyed seeing it happen to them" is Grand Canyon big in any case.Reign in Blood wrote:What if it was a bunch of gangbangers getting busted after robbing an old grandma's house and beating her with a chain to death? I hate seeing families separated when people come here for a better life, but it really has become a necessity. It is a harsh wake up call, but the soft ones never work.Headhunter wrote:The difference between "They deserved it" and "I enjoyed seeing it happen to them" is Grand Canyon big in any case.Reign in Blood wrote:What if it was a bunch of gangbangers getting busted after robbing an old grandma's house and beating her with a chain to death? ICE is a great example of this chasm. There's a huge difference between thinking ICE is doing the right thing, and finding enjoyment in seeing families be separated and peoples' lives uprooted.
You have principles. Too many others are basically just MAGA fanboys who treat ideological issues like competitive sports. Getting joy out of people suffering is a pretty sorry way to live.Foo wrote:I hate seeing families separated when people come here for a better life, but it really has become a necessity. Would love to see the US-Mexican border be like the US-Canada border, but Mexico has a lot of work to do to get there. I can't help but think many of those who migrate here would be making Mexico a better place towards that end.Headhunter wrote:You have principles. As for the issue itself, I don't see the necessity at all. Increased border security in the past 50 years made things worse by ending the cyclical migration and keeping everyone locked in and hiding.
