Do you not notice liberals are shouting down people much more frequently?

i notice that. i also notice that liberals are more numerous (or more in control, or both, maybe) where i have the most interest in the public sphere. control and power emboldens assholes to flex their muscles more and shout louder.

I just see that particularly problematic when the liberal position is supposed to be all about tolerance, yet everything they control becomes an echo chamber where force is used to suppress other ideas.

show them they're wrong. out reason them. don't play games of your own to shut people down, out of hand.

okay. i wasn't being specific to one kind of shutting down. and alyssa milano wasn't the one doing it. she gave her opinion. other people involved bullied laura loomer and shut her down for challenging the opinion.

okay. i wasn't being specific to one kind of shutting down. and alyssa milano wasn't the one doing it. she gave her opinion. other people involved bullied laura loomer and shut her down for challenging the opinion.

All Milano had to do to stop that bullying and manhandling of that woman was ask them to stop. She had more power than anyone in that situation and merely needed to say something. She is no feminist, she is an opportunist, like everyone else there, likely including the woman who asked the question.

Milano has no requirement to answer all questions any more than Trump or Republicans, many who are outright lying daily now to stoke fear in the American people. Holding to account is fine but so is not answering.

It’s not though. The most common citing if racism is as it relates to racists. Which there are on the right. So it’s not exactly shocking to see their racism called out.

no. milano wasn't crying racism or whatever. the other people involved bullied loomer, because she challenged their views. that's what i was saying. that's what i've said from the start. it's not crying racism falsely, but it serves the same end.

To ask a leader of a movement the question she was asked, in a forum for asking questions, and get treated like that is downright ridiculous.

you and i are in agreement about how loomer was treated there. and, seemingly, in how the actions taken against loomer are not representative of feminism.
