laws should not be put into place to force people to refer to 1000 different gender types on sight.

rules to curb harassment (whether by one person or a mass of people) centered on misgendering or "deadnaming" a targeted individual or group is not a bad thing.

these are two different issues, being conflated here, in this thread, to try to use one to justify the other.
