I don't want to single out specifics because everyone here is a near and dear friend, but a broski or two revealed their tell in a couple of incidents. I don't feel at all superior for my view of Trump. My trolling gets blended in with the serious discussion, so it's difficult to decipher. But there is no feeling of superiority at all.

it doesn't have to be true of everyone. but you want to say that it's not true of most. that if you don't like trump, that it must be somehow because you just wanted him to be bad. it's silly. and i bet that even the people that you feel like that's true of, on hmf, that it isn't really.

Of course not. I have my legitimate grievances with Trump. Most of which are minuscule and nothing catastrophically bad. Bump stock ban, video game rant, etc... As it is, trolling aside about GOATness and whatnot, I would probably legitimately rank him in or around the top 5 of all time already. You have to take into account the issues under each president, how they operate under the shift in paradigm, etc... The guy has been on fire, lights out, mind-of-his-own and running the country beautifully. I am a huge fan, and he has done better than I expected.
JFK is the hardest president for me to rank, but you have to go all the way back to Reagan or perhaps past him all the way back to JFK to find a president near or on his level.

Goes all the way back to Southern landowners creating legal divisions between their white indentured servants and their black slaves (who lived together, intermarried etc.).
