it's generally a concoction of vitamins and a shit-load of caffeine.

Alright, I don't live out in the sticks, so forgive me. Why do I feel I'm doing the Blair Witch Project in order to get some food from this place? And what's with the cat?

Didn’t want to be the backseat driver but I thought largely the same.

Lulz. Yeah, it is not exactly a modern masterpiece. We are adapting a 100 year old building, and I am trying to keep it cost effective so it is profitable.

Worst interview ever:
http://www.cecilcountylife.com/2017/11/ ... next-level
Not even kidding. Weird, out of context quotes, totally inaccurate details, etc. The dude interviewing me asked me questions about tuna and ham, then put them in the article like I randomly start talking about that shit. We have never served tuna...

That exchange about Tuna was weird. Didn't sound like he really asked you if it was elitism.

Guy was weird. Freelance writer, the day I met him he had just interviewed to be a babysitter for old people.
He never came out to see the business. During the interview, he obviously knew nothing about the business other than others told him about it. When he asked what we sold and I told him sandwiches, tacos, bowls, etc. he started asking me questions like we were a sub shop. He literally says, "I really like tuna salad subs, don't you agree?". Ending statements with "...don't you agree?" was his thing. I would rather lick a cat's ass than eat canned tuna.
When I tell him I don't like canned tuna, he makes some statement implying I am some sort of gourmet, so I tell him I eat canned chicken sometimes at home. Did not seem relevant at all to me.
Same thing with the ham. Dude starts talking about ham. He started asking me about ham sandwiches and I told him we only use ham for certain things and we use real ham and hand carve it. He asked about "real ham" and he was oblivious about the weird lunch meat ham delis have. I was kinda surprised a person could look at those perfectly rectangular objects that are smooth and slimy all the way through and think that comes straight from a pig.

I thought it read like a typical piece. Not bad, certainly doesn’t paint you in a bad light. But a bit strange.

I guess it is just one of those things. The interview was four hours long. I was trying to be polite as he kept getting sidetracked. I spent time focusing on how the business can help people as I felt that is why someone might actually read the article. I also tried to focus on the people in our business, which was totally left out in favor of a paragraph about canned tuna and chicken, or how cheap lunch meat is made.
