What do you mean? Music is possibly more important to me than movies and TV
you don't seem as much of a streaming naysayer where it concerns music, as you are toward film and television. or maybe i'm wrong. how many of taylor's albums do you have on vinyl or cd?
Most of her stuff, but haven't bought or listened to the most recent albums.
My main goal in all of this is to have complete control of the things I choose to watch or listen to, without the hassle of monthly payments, commercial breaks or reliance on internet service. I own multiple iPods of different generations with plenty of GB space to put on any amount of songs I could dream of. I'll rip most of them from my CD collection or if I love one or two songs and don't want the whole album I'll just buy them on iTunes or download the mp3 from a YouTube video. I have nearly 4,000 songs on my iPods and I have one for the car and one for when I'm doing things about the house. I have designated Bluetooth headphones for each iPod because I've begun a transition from auxiliary.
As far as music, some of my most precious hauls are the complete CD collections of Blue Oyster Cult and an amazing complete CD set of the Beatles. I rip all the songs onto iTunes. Download the album covers for each specific album and apply them to all the songs and obtain lyrics for every song. I put a lot of effort into the things I own. And if there's a movie or TV show I want that doesn't have a physical release, I either live without it or buy a high quality bootleg. The only bootleg I've had to buy is the All in the Family spin off series Archie Bunker's Place.
