:P that seems to be consensus on the film.
I had forgotten they even made a new one until my girlfriend found it on Hulu. Speaking of, they have the new Omen film on there as well. Have you seen it?
i really want to see the first omen, but haven't yet.
You haven't seen the original? That one is a classic. I also enjoyed the sequel Omen II. The third one was kind of boring imo.

oh no. i was hoping that wouldn't be confusing.... i've seen the original. it's great. the first omen is the title of the new prequel flick.

Yes, I am here now. I would have updated this morning but things went from bad to worse quick. It's been 2 weeks and she is still in a tremendous amount of pain, and our fucknut doctor's won't give any pain pills. Junkies get them no problem, but out on a major surgery, you get nothing, I hate our medical. She hasn't been eating much at all because everything makes her nauseous, equal parts pain and digestive track trying to assimilate. But we were making do. Then OF COURSE, this morning her incision opened up in the shower, ugh. And the doc now won't see her until tomorrow. Not sure how she's gonna make it to the bathroom, but it will be a fun adventure I'm sure. Blood and pain is the update, but she's strong and will be ok sometime soon, I'm sure of it, just taking some detours on this road to recovery.

Yeah I wasn't certain if you were talking about the original or the not HAHA.
I know Boogey has seen it and if I recall he liked it.

Alien: Romulus and the new Planet of the Apes films are also on my list of must sees this year.
Deadpool and Wolverine I am iffy about. I didn't care for the Deadpool films as I felt they are too cheesy for my taste. But I want to see Hugh Jackman finally put on the mask after waiting for over 20 years.

I am sorry top hear this. I fucking hate our medical system. I'm glad you're there to help her out, I didn't even know you guys knew each other in RL, that's awesome. I have had three major surgeries and have been through the battles with doctors like you mentioned, it's a big pile of bullshit. Anyways, I hope she's feeling much better soon.

i am curious about deadpool and wolverine. probably catch it on streaming eventually though. probably will turn out to be the best marvel flick since the last spiderman flick. but that's not a lot really, so yeah.

As far as I know the movie was made 10 years ago and barely hit theaters a couple years ago. They kept it shelved for a long time and I can understand the frustration. There is a message at the end credits of the movie that is pretty profound. It was better than I expected.

oh, that. i guess it's fair to try to spin that way because of that. fox got pulled into disney before the release. and disney didn't think it would be profitable (clearly they were wrong) so another studio bought the rights and spun it as a conspiracy to help market the film. and it worked.

Buy a little Alien prop toy and place it on the incision so it looks like the scene from the movie. :P

because the studio heads or shareholders or whoever think that physical media is dying compared to what it had been. and the market bears that out. if it jumps back to life, with the same numbers that it had during the early to mid 2000s then they'll likely go back into the blu-ray business. but if not, we still have boutique market like vinegar syndrome and the like.

Disney is being greedy about it. They want to pick and choose which movies to buy and release on bluray and for many of the movies, they don't want to risk only making a small profit. So instead of allowing another company to take on the risk, they hold onto it and don't allow anyone to make any money and nobody gets a physical release. Gross. I'll take the booty
