What does he look like, Jigs? We can barely get coherent top 25s out of him, and you want reviews. Pfft.
speaking of lists... is a fistful of dollars an action flick or a comedy? :P
Not much of either. Whole lot of tumbleweed, those flicks.

pretty sure they are all three up on tubi, if you don't own them?
I own all 3 on DVD and bluray. But that's cool
yeah, were you just looking up youtube for the hell of it?
No. I have the Ennio Morricone dollars trilogy soundtrack CD and a couple tracks are a little different than what's in the movie. So I was bouncing around youtube looking for different versions and A Fistful of Dollars came up to watch for free.
leone tampered morricone's original vision? those damn italians just can't get along. :P
Not sure. Could just be the type of CD I have. Not sure. There have probably been small edits to the soundtrack here and there over time.

Jason, let's say you had the only physical copy of a flick, some Norm MacDonald piece of shit or summat. And Netflix decided they needed it and came calling, would you take the call?

Don't know what it is, It's not universal because both Terminator and Judge Dredd have issues, but RoboCop's one liners never get old to me. I could recite "Drop it, scum" "Freeze, slimeball" "Dead or Alive? Dead then" "You have the right to remain silent, dirtbag" in the Robo voice all day and be happy.

Lol. No.

They can come over. I'll turn on my TV, put it in my player and they can stream it from my couch any time they want for a small monthly fee that may or may not increase as I see fit.

DancesWithWerewolves wrote: Thu Nov 07, 2024 8:37 am But the new head of WB has been making many poor decisions with handling movies lately, so this isn't a surprise.
Like abandoning the Snyderverse. B-|
the snyderverse was suffering all on it's own. moving away from it was the best decision given the circumstances.
The Snyder DC films were much better than most of the shit Disney has pumped out for Marvel. Justice League failed because Snyder had to leave due to his daughter's tragic suicide. Unfortunately that prick Joss Whedon came in and made "his version" which was terrible. Then of course you had the internet crybabies who couldn't handle Snyder's dark/gritty realism that he brought to the films. Despite those few detractors it all started off good and could have succeeded had the executives as Wander Bros. Discovery managed the franchise better and not been in such a rush to compete with the MCU.
Where they fucked up there was trying to micro-manage and rush them out to compete with Marvel. Every time I think about his Justice League, I think of the scene in Almost Famous where Rolling Stone only has Fugit's notes for his article, complaining about it being a bunch of notes and he has to shout at them that they demand to send what he had, it wasn't finished. Zack wasn't finished and needed more time, but WB was like "nah bro, we're gonna gut and patch it under 2 hours and out in 2017."
I know you and I have discussed this before but it's just a damn shame WB had to fuck it all up. I have zero interest in James Gunn's BS reboot shit.

Guardians 1 was the only movie of his that I have liked and even then it was mediocre.

I just don't care for him as a director. I mean Zach is one of my all time favorite directors, he's right there with John Carpenter and Ridley Scott. Hard to compete with that.

i can't say that snyder nor gunn really holds up to carpenter or ridley scott in their prime. but fair.

What did you think of his Rebel Moons? I've heard literally no one talk of them at all, seems weird.

I haven't watched it yet but plan too during my week off at the end of the month. I heard mixed reviews and read online the R rated cut is better so I will probably watch that version.
