Both, really. I pick every individual song that's on the list. I've accumulated it over years of listening to music and I add songs that I feel are worthy of making it onto the list. I have them all on multiple iPods and I update it somewhat frequently.
That had a total 90s alternative type sound. Nice.

For me, it's still Begotten. Skinamarink had good atmosphere, a semblance of a plot, and built tension(without any payoff, but still).
