Liked it?
i did. not the best i've heard. but i dug it.
I was watching For Love of the Game about three months back while laying in bed. This song came on in the background when Kevin Costner's potential love interest showed up randomly at his apartment. It sounded awesome and I made a mental note to look it up the next day. I looked it up, listened to it, and probably had it on repeat 25x. I love that song. lol. Hard to say it's my favorite Roy Orbison song because it's such a recent discovery, but it's sitting right up there as of right now. I was blown away.
i guess i need to watch more costmer too. :P it's definitely a good song.
It's a baseball movie. :P
It's also a Sam Raimi movie
Yep. But it doesn't have much of an Evil Dead feel. :P

He was a drummer for them before they became Steely Dan.
Chevy Chase is actually a very good musician. He was a good enough drummer to play with Steely Dan, he's actually a very good piano player and has perfect pitch. I'm pretty sure Chevy actually sang this version of Zippity Do Dah (referencing the Song of the South movie).

As many already know, baseball was/is a big part of my life. Bull Durham is not my favorite baseball movie but it might have my favorite baseball movie moment. Costner played the catcher and Tim Robbins played the pitcher and the "shake him off, throw what you want" scene always makes me laugh my ass off.

I watched quite a bit of baseball growing up. My dad was a White Sox fan, my mother a Cubs fan. I've heard it said that baseball is boring, and I admit I don't watch it anymore, but we can all agree it's better than basketball, amiright?

I am biased because I played it and almost went pro. It is the best sport in the world, in my opinion. It's the most difficult to fully understand as far as the major sports go and couple that with the fact that it is played at a slower place and not as physical will give it the boring reputation. But if you know what you're watching, there isn't a second of baseball that goes by that is boring. Me loves it.
