There's stinky folks for sure. There was this older guy from Greece that I would chat with in the gym from time to time, back when I worked out at a real low key hole in the wall where everybody knew each other. I don't think this dude ever showered. His scent is forever burned in my memory. I'd be lifting weights, not seeing the guy at all, but smelling him. And I'd turn and see him a few feet away. Lol. Loved that guy.

If you loved him you'd tell him to wash that stank.

I had one co-worker, I played ball and hit the gym with a couple times, hobo looking motherfucker named Maurice, called him the Space Cowboy, anyhow he would shower, but with his socks on. Like old used socks. So while he showered, it was like that just added to his stank. I tried to talk to him but some people you can't talk any damn sense into.

That is some deep seeded childhood foot trauma that nobody would want to step in and try to solve.
